Call of duty - PIP-BOY
You hear Fallout’s characters are coming to Call of Duty and you have to get jaded fans excited about it. So, you sit in a room for about 2 hours and come up with about a dozen ideas with your partner. Some are out there, some are hardworking, but one is a very obvious “duh, we have to do that”.
That idea was to rip out the guts of Fallout’s iconic wearable Pip-Boy wrist computer and turn it into a device that could actually play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. We then had the pleasure of presenting the script to clients in a Fallout inspired nasally 1930’s radio announcer voice (no one laughed) and recording with a voice actor who did it much better than I did then we worked with a superb editor who brought it all to life. Now that’s old fashioned American ingenuity!
